CHICAGO (NewsNation) — In the world of medicine, part-time work was usually reserved for doctors transitioning into retirement, but amid an uptick in physician burnout rates, many are opting to make full-time careers out of temporary jobs. But it doesn't come without challenges, especially for hospitals and physicians who rely on them.Medical professionals have been overwhelmed with work since the start of the pandemic; it's led to overloaded patient rosters and burnt-out nurses and doctors. According to the American Medical Association, burnout rates exploded over the last several years, with a 25% spike in the number of physicians who reported at least one burnout symptom. PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – An Oregon man was found guilty of several crimes after an FBI bomb technician was injured by a boobytrap the man had placed inside his former home.In Sept. 2018, FBI agents and officers with the Oregon State Police went to a home formerly owned by Gregory Lee Rodvelt, 71, who had previously lost the house in a lawsuit. Rodvelt, apparently unhappy with the decision, had set several boobytraps throughout the property after learning it would be sold off, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Oregon.Upon arrival, officials said Rodvelt had set multiple boobytraps, including spike strips on the road, and steel animal traps on the gate and under the hood of a minivan. GREENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Police are investigating a fatal crash in the Town of Greenville that happened on Thursday around 7:30 p.m. Nemesio Barrera Tello, 78, was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. According to State Police, a preliminary investigation found a 2009 Toyota Camry was driving southbound on Mountain Road and failed to stop at a flashing red light. GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Guilderland man was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with possessing child pornography, according to New York State Police. Troopers say Zelezniak is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation. ST. LOUIS -- A bizarre crime call was made in Jefferson County last night. It ended in a crash on Highway 141 and Romaine Creek Road. Police say a woman began yelling, and another woman stopped her car to confront her. The woman yelled, then stole the car and drove the wrong way down Highway 141.
